ABOUT SKATE SKOOL
Cheapskates Skate Skool is New Zealand's longest running Learn to Skate Programme and Skate event provider based in Christchurch operating all across the South Island. At Cheapskate’s Skate School, we make learning to skateboard safe, fun, and confidence-building. Our friendly coaches work with kids (and adults too) of all ages and abilities — whether it’s their very first time on a board or they’re ready to learn new tricks. We focus on safety, encouragement, and progress at each person’s own pace. Skateboarding is more than just a sport — it builds balance, confidence and determination. Come join us and see your child grow and grin from ear to air,
with over 35,000 youth learning to skate in a fun and safe environment, since launching in 2010.​

SERVICES
Private Lessons
Boost your progression with a private lesson at your local skate park or a location that suits. Get a few mates together and make it cheaper. Lessons are based on natural progression. Suitable for beginners and intermediate level skaters, We can teach you the basics the rest is up to your dedication and practice we offer one off casual lessons and weekly progression sessions.
Cost includes a board as well as crash pads & helmet.

$25 for each additional person suitable for up to 4 students at once.

Group Sessions
Skate Skool is available for groups and holiday programmes of all ages. These sessions can be personalised depending on group requirements. An exciting alternative activity for your group and best part is we come to you.

Birthday Party Skate Jams
Get your mates together for a driveway jam with the Skate Skool mobile skate park. Best part is we come to you, all the gear including helmets and crash pads and skateboards. It’s your birthday you can do what you want.

Must be 18 & over or have parent or guardian consent.
Mobile Skate Park
This mobile setup is available for hire at your school or event and includes wooden ramps, boxes and rails. The structures are user friendly and suitable for a skater of any ability.
